Verification and Validation Every product being developed requires a plan for verifying that the product design meets the product specifications. This is accomplished by conducting and documenting design reviews throughout the project. Testing is then performed according to the approved verification plan, and the results are documented.
Validation involves the end user of the product. Once the product has been completed according to approved drawings, component specifications, manufacturing procedures, and acceptance test procedures, it is submitted to the end user for testing. Validation plans and procedures are usually the responsibility of our customers; however, KMC can assist with this process.
