Thermal Control Many instruments developed by KMC require control of thermal masses. These range from simple incubators that maintain 37ºC to complex, high-speed heating and cooling thermal cyclers. Some instruments require low- or wide-range temperature-control systems using solid-state peltier cooling devices.
A number of microprocessor-embedded control boards we've developed contain multiple temperature-control subsystems utilizing programmable feedback. The temperature sensors for these systems include thermistors, thermocouples, and RTDs. We use custom temperature-control modeling software to fine-tune each control system. Our engineering staff has many years of experience with precision temperature calibration.
