Our History

Founded 30 years ago, KMC Systems began with the contract manufacture of an advanced clinical chemistry analyzer. We now support projects from ideation through commercial use with medical device design, medical device manufacturing and medical device field support services. Our project experience includes a variety of medical devices and instruments, including: IVD analyzers, therapeutic delivery systems, “point of care” diagnostic systems for physicians, and high-volume laboratory automation applications.

Ownership

KMC Systems is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kollsman, Inc., a supplier of electro-optical instruments to the aerospace and defense. In 1996, Kollsman was acquired by Elbit Systems of America, LLC, a leading provider of high-performance products and system solutions for the defense, homeland security, commercial aviation and medical device markets.
